Qualifications

• PT licensure valid in the state of practice.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other state-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neuro, or geriatric PT are preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient function, goals, and limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, home exercises, and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Ensure timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on PT techniques and integrate best practices into care.
• Support Plan of Care and follow up on noncompliance when needed.
• Work as a team with nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.
• Delegate tasks to a Physical Therapy Assistant when applicable.
• Foster a collaborative culture aligned with service goals.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily operations.
• Adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
