Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta in Marietta, GA (Guardian Pharmacy) is seeking a detail-minded Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions with speed and accuracy. You will triage incoming faxes, verify dosages, and communicate with doctors' offices to ensure timely dispensing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify notes in computer and cycle fill coding; calculate and verify correct dosage.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route calls for top-level service.
• Complete prescriptions within regular shift and follow up with doctors' offices as needed.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems including document imaging and legacy systems.
