Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Scientist to contribute to target discovery and mechanistic insights in inflammation. You will design cellular and molecular experiments, analyze data, and translate findings into clear decisions using AI-enabled tools.

Strong experimental discipline and collaboration are essential for driving impactful results. You will work with organoid systems and immune-cell models, with opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, or related field with research experience.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell biology and assay development; strong troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results; familiarity with AI-enabled or computational workflows is a plus.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and scientific documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute cellular and molecular experiments; analyze and integrate data.
• Use AI-enabled analytical tools to enhance hypothesis generation and communication.
• Maintain rigorous controls, documentation, and data integrity; manage samples and timelines.
