Job summary

Mitchell 1 Group in San Diego seeks a detail‑oriented editor/researcher to compile commercial vehicle diagnostic and repair information for the CVG product line. You will verify accuracy and collaborate with Senior Editor to maintain quality in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires hands-on CV knowledge, strong written/verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office. On-site work in San Diego with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• AA degree or Vo-Tech certificate with CV diagnostic and repair emphasis preferred.
• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certification a plus.
• ASE Automotive Truck certification a plus.
• Completion of at least one college level English writing course or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile diagnostic, repair and other pertinent data using the CMS.
• Verify technical accuracy and consistency of information within guidelines.
• Maintain productivity standards with quality.
• Collaborate in a team to meet organizational objectives.
• Provide customer service relating to diagnostic and repair data.
• Maintain knowledge of related competitive products.
• Suggest improvements to CVG products based on user needs.
• Prepare and submit project status reports as requested.
• Maintain professional attitude within the CVG Editorial Department.
• Achieve and maintain working knowledge of current commercial vehicle applications.
