Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our in-store team in a location-based setting. You will drive retail sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and providing exceptional service, while learning key product insights and solutions.

You will grow your skills through ongoing training, with opportunities to expand your customer base via outbound outreach and community events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in sales or customer service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts and earning more income during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyal customer base.
