Job summary

Verizon is hiring for a full-time Retail Sales Associate at an on-site location in your area. You will drive retail sales by combining deep product knowledge with exceptional customer service, uncovering customer needs and offering complete tech solutions.

You’ll learn and upsell, close sales, and participate in ongoing training while potentially growing your customer base through outbound contact and community events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience or military.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays with four weeks’ notice.
• Openness to additional shifts for increased income, especially in peak seasons.
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customers’ needs by creating connections and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for top-down sales.
• Close sales with effective communication and customer-focused solutions.
