Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in our retail stores. You will engage customers, uncover needs, and present top-down solutions, driving success and growth. This role offers base pay plus commissions and robust benefits, with opportunities to advance and participate in community events.

Expected schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Onsite work at a defined location with comprehensive training and support from Verizon’s team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required (sales/customer service).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service.
• Identify customer needs and ask the right questions.
• Present product insights and recommendations for a complete solution.
• Close sales with effective communication across customers.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly place outbound calls and text messages to Verizon customers.
