Job summary

Abacus is seeking an independent, motivated Project Manager to join our Professional Services team. You will lead client infrastructure onboarding projects, develop plans, schedules, budgets, and manage resources and risks.

You will coordinate with global teams, run status meetings, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strong communication and ownership. This role requires flexibility for evening/weekend work and monthly NYC travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience delivering small to mid-sized technology projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness to travel to NYC once a month.

Responsibilities

• Develop a full understanding of customer requirements and project deliverables.
• Lead projects from initiation to completion including planning, budgeting, and staffing.
• Develop and monitor schedules to meet deadlines.
• Identify risks, mitigation strategies, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Lead status meetings, maintain issues/risk lists, and produce status reports.
• Coordinate with service providers to resolve integration issues and prioritize work.
