Job summary

GOLFTEC Lakewood is seeking a Certified Personal Coach to join our national team of golf professionals. You will complete GTU training, teach using the latest technology, and craft personalized lesson plans for students at all levels.

This role includes opening/closing the Training Center, ongoing education, and collaboration with a strong team. A passion for teaching, PGA/LPGA affiliation a plus, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for extended periods and lift items up to 30 pounds.
• PGA/LPGA affiliation is a plus.
• Graduation from a PGA/PGM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Graduate from GOLFTEC University and complete GTU training.
• Utilize technology to help students play better golf.
• Recommend teaching content and tailor lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
• Provide GOLFTEC services for each student, including TECFIT Club Fitting and various lessons.
• Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside training bays.
• Use Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
• Maintain Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
• Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
• Participate in continuing education and distance learning.
