Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks; bonus for industry tools.
• Strong Excel skills; data analysis or automation experience a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Comfort with systems integrations and mobile workforce apps connecting to accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Controller to manage the full spectrum of financial operations, from reporting to budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure accuracy/compliance.
• Oversee AP/AR processes and leverage automation for timely processing.
• Reconcile bank statements, GL accounts, and tax filings.
• Assist in budgets and variance analysis to guide financial decisions.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records aligned with policies.
• Collaborate with tax teams and auditors for smooth reporting.
• Provide insights through financial analysis for senior management.
• Track and report project costs for commercial renovations.
• Support cash flow management and data-driven improvements.
