Job summary

Johnson Health Tech North America is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist II to help shape how our teams, technicians, and customers understand and support our fitness equipment. In this role, you’ll combine technical curiosity, hands-on problem solving, and strong communication skills to create documentation, service bulletins, visuals, and videos that make an impact across the business.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical or communication-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical-related field; fitness equipment experience is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience creating assembly or service documents.
• Hands-on aptitude for assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, or supporting equipment.
• Experience incorporating customer and technician feedback to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical documentation projects from idea to completion.
• Create, update, and organize service bulletins, assembly instructions, troubleshooting guides, and support materials.
• Develop photos, drawings, diagrams, and videos to simplify procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information and keep docs current.
• Support new product launches by ensuring teams have needed information.
• Maintain feedback loops with internal teams, suppliers, technicians, and customers to improve documentation quality.
