onsemi is seeking a TD Intern to support LV/MV EFK technology development, performing wafer characterization, defect analysis, reliability testing, and yield improvement activities in a semiconductor development environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, participate in experiments and data analysis, and report results while gaining industry-ready skills in a dynamic internship program at Hopewell Junction, NY.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Python, MATLAB, or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Support the LV/MV EFK technology development team in advancing semiconductor device performance, reliability, and manufacturing capability.
• Perform data analysis to help improve device yield and manufacturing performance.
• Assist with device characterization and electrical measurements at wafer level.
• Support reliability characterization activities, including TDDB and WL-UIL measurements.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports summarizing results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Device, Process Integration, Product, and Reliability Engineering teams.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective action initiatives for yield and reliability issues.
• Participate in design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis to optimize device performance.
• Document findings and present project updates to the engineering team.
