Job summary

Title Nine is seeking a Tech Design Specialist to translate design concepts into accurate, manufacturable products. You will own tech packs, BOMs, and PLM data, while supporting 3D development in Browzwear and documenting fit sessions with vendors.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Materials, Sourcing and leadership to meet milestones and ensure quality across styles and fabric groups.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in apparel design, technical design, product development or related field
• 1–2 years of apparel industry experience (entry-level technical design, product development, or internships)
• Exposure to woven and knit apparel; performance apparel or swim a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tech packs and BOMs for new styles with Design, Materials and Product Development
• Support 3D development in Browzwear by constructing and updating virtual garments
• Measure samples and verify specifications against tolerances
• Update spec sheets and grade rules
• Own day-to-day data accuracy in OnBrand PLM
• Prepare for and document fit sessions and issue fit comments to vendors
• Compile monthly return-rate data and summarize themes from customer feedback
• Collaborate with Design, Materials, Sourcing and leadership to meet milestones
• Communicate specifications and sample status clearly to overseas manufacturers
