Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a Technical Designer to create, maintain, and approve tech packs in PLM, guiding suppliers to production-ready garments. The role partners with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, global sourcing, and suppliers to ensure design intent, fit, construction, quality, and calendar adherence.

You will document measurements and construction details, lead tech pack reviews, and support fit sessions, sample reviews, and product evaluations while coordinating across teams

Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in apparel manufacturing, design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Gerber, PLM, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Browzwear or other 3D applications preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The role partners with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, global sourcing partners, and suppliers to ensure products meet design intent, fit, construction, quality, and calendar requirements.
