Job summary
Title Nine is seeking a Technical Design Manager in Emeryville, CA to lead product engineering, translate design into manufactured garments, and own the technical viewpoint for the brand across apparel and swim. The role drives fit, quality and margin, managing blocks, specs, grading and 3D pattern development.
You will lead the Tech Design team, collaborate across Design, Merchandising, Materials and Sourcing, and ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries while maintaining signature technical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in apparel design or related field required.
- 7+ years of technical design and/or product development experience.
- Strong pattern making, grading and construction knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the technical point of view for Title Nine across apparel and swim.
- Build consistent technical specifications including pattern, construction, make and grade.
- Own fit governance for carryover styles and ensure alignment with design intent.
- Lead sample development from concept through production approval and manage timelines.
- Lead, develop and mentor the Tech Design team and uphold accountability.
