Job summary

Best Buy in Fredericksburg, VA is looking for a part-time Retail Sales Associate to be the face of the store and help customers find the right tech products and services. You’ll perform product demos, answer questions, and make recommendations to meet individual needs.

You will also handle cashier duties, maintain product knowledge through ongoing training, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup orders. This role emphasizes friendly service and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs across all departments
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked
