Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Experience leading technically focused teams and initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and leadership to a team of highly technical employees. Develop and maintain a high performing team through effective hiring, vendor partner management, coaching and performance management.
• Work with leadership and team members to deliver robust technical solutions, ensuring service levels and timelines are met; oversee designs and testing prior to release.
• Influence continuous improvement of processes, policies and best practices to optimize performance and availability of technologies.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot and participate in root-cause analysis of development/test environment issues; lead action to prevent recurrence.
• Define, track and measure department performance; provide escalation and reports to technology leadership; participate in strategic planning.
• Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and present value to technology leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

5+ years of experience of progressive scope/impact/responsibility (including both hands-on and leadership roles) working with technologies

Proven track record for delivering varying initiatives and driving execution

Demonstrated experience and success in influencing, leading, and coaching without direct leadership responsibility

Demonstrated reasoning and troubleshooting skills
