Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Technology Consulting Interns in Kansas City, MO to support standard engineering design tasks, update designs, and assist lead engineers on various project duties. The internship includes exposure to multiple market segments through the 1898 & Co.

division, a global business, technology and security consultancy. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/Data Science, with a GPA of 3.0+ and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Technical expertise in computer equipment, storage, backups, operating systems and tools used in an operating environment required.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to design tasks.
• Correct and update designs under supervision of lead engineers.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties and other assigned tasks.
• Project work varies by market segment.
