Job summary

Uber's Global Fix Experience team is seeking a Technical Component Specialist to own the health of software components end to end. You will blend AI-assisted analysis with hands-on debugging to drive proactive improvements and reduce production tickets.

You’ll work with CX, Product, Eng, and Ops, using SQL, dashboards, and Jira to validate hypotheses, write clear issue narratives, and guide go‑live readiness.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in systems analysis or technical troubleshooting.
• SQL and spreadsheets for data analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in GFX or 2+ years in Product/Tech Support is preferred.
• Gen AI fluency and ability to validate and challenge AI-generated analysis.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Willingness to support early/late/weekend shifts including on-call.

Responsibilities

• Launch & change readiness for each component before go-live.
• Close knowledge gaps and preventable-ticket patterns early.
• Turn production signals into evidence-backed product insights.
• Collaborate with CX, Product, ENG and Ops during outages and escalations.
• Provide technical ownership and partnership across stakeholders.
