Job summary

Granola in San Francisco is seeking a founding community events lead to build a best-in-SF tech community. You will own event ideas, run logistics, manage communications with speakers and partners, and drive attendance from day one.

You’ll collaborate with our London team on brand and launches, cultivate relationships with accelerators and VCs, and help Granola become a top AI-native brand for professionals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community and events, venture, startup ecosystems or partnerships
• A track record of running great events for a tech audience consistently
• Comfortable talking to execs and founders

Responsibilities

• Generate event ideas and community initiatives and execute them
• Curate the guest list so a great group of people show up
• Own all comms with speakers, partners and guests
• Run logistics like a station master, so everything leaves on time
• Own the marketing for every event, from the copy to the socials
• Work closely with our brand and events teams in London, who hold the bar on how Granola shows up
• Pitch in on big product launches when we need all hands
• Build relationships with the top accelerators and VCs in the Bay (e.g. YC, Neo, HF0, SPC)
