Job summary

Granola, SF-based, is seeking a founding community and events lead to build one of the city’s best tech communities. You’ll own generating event ideas, curate guest lists, and manage speaker/partner communications, while running logistics and owning event marketing to fill the room.

Collaborate with our London team, nurture Bay Area accelerator/VC relationships, and contribute to product launches. Ideal: 5+ years in community/events and a proven track record with tech audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community and events, venture, startup ecosystems or partnerships.
• Track record of running great events for a tech audience consistently.
• Comfortable talking to execs and founders.

Responsibilities

• Own generating event ideas and community initiatives and the execution of those ideas.
• Curate the guest list so a great group of people show up.
• Own all comms with speakers, partners and guests.
• Run logistics like a station master, so everything leaves on time.
• Own the marketing for every event, from the copy to the socials, so the room is full.
• Work closely with brand and events teams in London to align Granola's presence.
• Pitch in on big product launches when we need all hands.
• Build relationships with accelerators and VCs in the Bay Area to ensure Granola is the first tool founders reach for on day one.
