Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Commercial Counsel to prepare RFP responses, negotiate and administer contracts, subcontracts and licensing agreements; develops risk management strategies and provides guidance to business partners.

The role focuses on drafting and negotiating various agreements (SaaS, licenses, SOWs, telecom, hosting), ensuring policy compliance and strategic alignment, with the ability to escalate to management as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Juris Doctor Degree.
• Admission to the Bar of at least one state is required.
• 2+ years of corporate transactional, contracts negotiations and/or commercial transactional experience.
• Strong negotiation, consultation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, edit, finalize and negotiate routine transactional agreements to meet business and legal requirements.
• Agreements include sales/supply, reseller/distribution, end user license, professional services, SaaS and SOWs.
• Manage contract documentation/approval flows to ensure consistency with internal processes.
• Provide counsel and guidance to support business objectives while complying with laws and mitigating risk.
