Johnson & Johnson invites students to join a six-month JJT Co-op Program in Technology Leadership Development, based in Raritan, NJ. The role is full-time and hybrid, spanning March 29, 2027 to August 20, 2027, with hands-on work in backend development, Docker, CI, and AI-enabled tooling.

You will collaborate with mentors, build skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and testing, and prepare for TLDP full-time opportunities, all while contributing to real projects in a leading healthcare company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help implement and maintain backend routes and simple controllers in JavaScript/Node.js.
• Pair with a mentor to add features and fix bugs for WebSocket and REST endpoints.
• Run and test containerized applications locally and follow basic CI run instructions.
• Write and run unit tests for the code you touch.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with the team on tasks.
• Create or update basic documentation and small design notes for the work you do.
• Learn to use AI to accelerate your development output
