Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Raritan, New Jersey, is seeking a U.S.-authorized co-op student for a 6-month hybrid program. You'll work on backend features, unit tests, and containerized apps in a growing tech space.

You’ll pair with mentors and participate in sprint ceremonies while learning CI concepts and AI-assisted development. This JJT Co-op Program offers hands-on experience in Technology Leadership Development, with opportunities to contribute to real projects and network across the company

Qualifications

• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Full-time availability 40 hours/week from Mar 29, 2027 to Aug 20, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Help implement backend routes and simple controllers in JavaScript/Node.js.
• Pair with a mentor to add features and fix bugs for WebSocket and REST endpoints.
• Run and test containerized applications locally and follow CI/run instructions.
• Write and run unit tests for the code you touch.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, report blockers, and collaborate with the team on tasks.
• Create or update basic documentation and small design notes for the work you do.
• Learn to use AI to accelerate your development output.
