Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard full time patrol at our San Francisco, CA location. You will monitor and protect clients across industries, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and respond to security-related concerns.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and clear communication within a technology-focused environment. Position is full-time with a schedule including day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as part of employment.
• A drug screen is required prior to employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Applicants must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
