Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Part Time Security Guard to perform patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service in a technology-focused environment. This role offers flexible scheduling with a pay rate of $40.95 per hour, and opportunities to advance through shift-based roles at a dynamic site.

The position requires the ability to work at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, with higher age requirements for armed roles, and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with leadership and client contacts as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
