Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in San Francisco, CA. The role includes unarmed patrols of office spaces, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Schedule includes daytime shifts with set hours; training and growth opportunities are provided. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ to apply for unarmed roles, and background/drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, access issues, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
