Job summary

Amazon's Technology, AI, and Analytics (TAA) team within AWS Marketing is seeking a Tech Business Management Lead to drive finance and business management functions, owning budget, operations, and rhythm of the business. You will lead a team of builders to optimize resources and enable data-driven decisions at scale.

You will partner with executive leadership, product, engineering, and AWS Finance to ensure business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance and business management teams.
• Strong partnering with executive leadership, product, engineering, and AWS Finance.
• Data-driven decision making and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor overall AWS TAA budget and related processes including program and project financials, POs.
• Own team’s rhythm of business (ROB) mechanisms (OP1, OP2, WBR, MBR, Goal reviews, QBR) in partnership with TAA LT, Marketing S&O, and AWS Finance.
• Identify, analyze, and develop mechanisms to optimize resources and operational challenges to drive efficiencies and speed through automation, AI, integrations, and data pipelines that reduce manual effort and give leadership real-time visibility.
• Set goals and develop financial projections to guide business processes.
• Track financial data against established KPIs.
• Serve as liaison between executive leadership, stakeholders, and department heads.
• Lead, hire, and develop a team of builders responsible for day-to-day business management like POs, headcounts, SOWs, project financials.
