Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown, PC in California is seeking a Tech Audit Senior based in Los Angeles or San Francisco. You will lead auditing engagements from planning to completion, guiding staff and coordinating with clients to deliver world-class service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or pursuing CPA, 2+ years in public accounting, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role offers hybrid work, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff and communicate with engagement manager and partner.
• Collaborate on client issue resolutions and advise on legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and manage multiple engagements concurrently.
• Assist in budgeting and mentor team members; support professional development.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
