Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown in Los Angeles is seeking a Financial Services Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion, mentoring staff and maintaining client relationships.

You will work across LA, OC or SF offices, with opportunities to advance, requiring a CPA and several years of public accounting experience, including healthcare audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals preferred.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to provide high-quality service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Provide supervision to staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on issue resolution and recommendations.
• Manage multiple engagements and budgets to meet deadlines.
• Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
