Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license.
• Experience auditing commercial clients, including SEC registrants, with understanding of PCAOB standards.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience, leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise the engagement team on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and counsel to staff, seniors, and supervisors; foster open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and create engagement budgets to monitor efficiency.
• Contribute to professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
