Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas in Irving, TX invites applications for an 11-week Technology Audit Intern position. The intern will work with the Internal Audit technology team, gaining hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and governance of artificial intelligence.

The role performs auditing tasks of low to moderate complexity, assists in testing IT general controls, documents workpapers, and contributes to control assessments and audit recommendations.

Qualifications

• Active and enrolled student in an accredited college or university (junior or senior).
• Pursuing a degree in auditing, MIS, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, computer science, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Coursework spanning technical/analytical and accounting/risk concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of FHLB Dallas technology audit approach, methodology, and tools.
• Assist testing IT general controls across access, change, and IT operations with SOX relevance.
• Prepare audit workpapers documenting procedures and results of testing.
• Apply data analytics to evaluate populations of access, changes, and activity records.
• Support cloud controls assessments in Azure and Entra ID (IAM, baselines).
• Assist in evaluating cybersecurity/cloud/AI controls against NIST CSF, CIS Controls, FFIEC.
• Contribute to AI governance assessments including model inventory and data lineage.
• Assist in presenting written audit recommendations to auditee.
