Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas is offering a paid Summer Internship in its Internal Audit department for undergraduate juniors and seniors. The role is integrated across technology, cybersecurity, financial, and operational areas, giving hands-on exposure to testing controls and documenting results.

You will participate in audits, apply data analytics to entire data populations, and help prepare audit recommendations. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active and enrolled student in an accredited college or university, classified as a junior or senior.
• Major in accounting, finance, MIS, data analytics, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• Completed coursework must include at least one accounting, audit, or risk course and at least one quantitative, information systems, or computer science course.
• Overall GPA of 3.25 or better.
• Proficient in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to a non‑technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools.
• Participate in audits across financial, compliance, operational, and information technology areas to determine compliance with policies, procedures and laws.
