Job summary

Valley Health System seeks a phlebotomist at Waldwick Center to perform phlebotomy on in-office patients and handle specimen collection and processing. You will register orders, ensure medical necessity, and respond to provider and patient inquiries by phone, fax, or printout.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and is ASCP certified or pursuing certification. High school diploma required; evening shifts available.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Good typing skills.
