Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Strategic Transactions & Alliances Intern to support technology collaborations and business agreements across the semiconductor ecosystem. You will gain exposure to licensing, university and government collaborations, and IP agreements while partnering with business, technical, and legal teams.

The internship offers mentorship, meaningful work, and opportunities to interact with executives, with a 40-hour workweek in the United States.

Qualifications

Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and in good academic standing.
English fluency in written and verbal form.
Availability to work 40 hours per week during the internship.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

Support the Strategic Transactions & Alliances team with technology collaboration activities involving customers, universities, and government agencies.
Assist with contract administration by tracking milestones, deliverables, and renewal dates.
Conduct research on semiconductor industry trends and strategic partnerships.
Help prepare presentations, reports, and business updates for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, legal, and business teams to gather information.
Maintain documentation and databases for alliance and contract management activities.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and document action items for follow-up.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
