Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin, TX, is seeking a motivated Strategic Transactions & Alliances Intern to support technology collaborations, partnerships, and business agreements across the semiconductor ecosystem.

The intern will gain exposure to technology licensing, university and government collaborations, intellectual property agreements, and strategic business initiatives while partnering with business, technical, and legal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least a sophomore at time of application and pursuing a Bachelor’s in a related field.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal).
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Transactions & Alliances team with technology collaboration activities involving customers, universities, government agencies, and suppliers.
• Assist with contract administration by tracking milestones, deliverables, and renewal dates.
• Conduct research on semiconductor industry trends, partnerships, and competitive developments.
• Develop presentations, reports, and business updates for internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, legal, and business teams to gather information.
