Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process equipment (bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers).
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.
• Contribute to SOP development and revisions for process maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow SOPs to ensure GMP compliance and safety.
• Notify EHS of unsafe conditions and participate in safety training.
• Support site operations and emergency work orders, including off-hours.
• Perform spare parts assessments as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Technician 2, Maintenance is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of process related systems/equipment. Ensure these systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on process related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
• Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
• Contributes to Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) development and revisions for process maintenance related activities
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
• Assists in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follows SOPs to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
• Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Attends all required safety and health training
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
• Performs spare parts assessments, as required
• Performs other duties, as assigned
