Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on process equipment (bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, washers, autoclaves, isolators, fillers).
• Develops preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Supports SOP development and updates for maintenance activities.
• Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and troubleshoots issues to root cause.
• Assists in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and ensures GMP compliance.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to EHS; participates in safety trainings.
• Supports off-hours emergencies and weekend/on-call coverage as required.
• Performs spare parts assessments and other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Technician 2, Maintenance is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of process related systems/equipment. Ensure these systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on process related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
• Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
• Contributes to Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) development and revisions for process maintenance related activities
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
• Assists in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follows SOPs to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
• Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Attends all required safety and health training
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
• Performs spare parts assessments, as required
• Performs other duties, as assigned
