Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, North Carolina, is seeking a Technician 1, Maintenance to support 24/7 pharmaceutical process equipment and ensure minimal downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance on bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, autoclaves, and related systems, and assist senior technicians with troubleshooting.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of maintenance experience, and a willingness to work nights and weekends.

Job description

The Technician 1, Maintenance is responsible for assisting installation, maintenance, and repair of process related systems/equipment. Ensure these systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Also responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on process related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

Night Shift- 6PM to 6:30AM - 2.2.3 shift

What You’ll Do

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
• Assists senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
• Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Attends all required safety and health training
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
• Assists with spare parts assessments, as required
• Performs other duties, as assigned
