Job summary
The Cigna Group is seeking participants for the Technology Development Program (TECDP) – Data & Analytics Engineering Track. This two-year program builds technical expertise and a holistic understanding of technology in healthcare, with hands-on experience and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
The Data & Analytics track focuses on scalable data solutions and turning data into actionable insights to improve healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to big data technologies or cloud platforms.
- Academic coursework, internships, or projects focused on data engineering.
- Leadership or involvement in clubs, hackathons, or research projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Participate in core and track-specific curriculum and leadership development.
- Engage in community activities and mentorship.
