Job summary

The Cigna Group’s TECDP Data Analytics Engineering Internship invites university students to join a 12-week summer program. You’ll work on data pipelines, analytics tools, and visualizations, under mentorship, with formal curriculum and cross-functional collaboration.

Roles emphasize data modeling, ETL, SQL, and Python/Java/Scala, with exposure to Hadoop/Spark and cloud services. Hybrid onsite schedule and 40-hour weeks preferred. GPA 3.3+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Data Science, CS, IT or related field, focusing on data engineering and analytics.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala for data manipulation.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI for data visualization.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark or cloud-based data services (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative.
• GPA 3.3+ preferred.
