Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an employee to lead teams during complex sort operations across warehouse, ramp and yard areas, ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to proper methods. The role includes training, coaching, and supervising in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a six-month FedEx handler background, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work the 0200–0800 AM shift Tuesday through Saturday. Federal Express is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Six months FedEx handler experience, preferably including 3 months in the area of the open position.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Ability to successfully complete basic and recurrency training.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train employees during sort operations.

Responsibilities

• Leads employees in complex sort, warehouse, ramp and/or yard functions with proper paperwork and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to successfully complete basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Ability to coach and train employees during sort operations. Ability to prioritize assignments and make quick decisions with available information. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and delegate responsibilities in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Good understanding of FedEx systems and operations.

Job Conditions
