Job description

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in Teamcenter installation, configuration, infrastructure administration, and large-scale deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining Teamcenter PLM environments in containerized environments, along with a solid understanding of application architecture, rearchitecting, and enterprise deployment strategies.

The role involves leading end‑to‑end Teamcenter installation and deployment activities, managing platform upgrades and maintenance, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Deployment: Plan, install, configure, and deploy Teamcenter PLM environments from scratch, including core platform components and associated modules.
• Containerized Environments: Design, configure, and support Teamcenter deployments in Docker-based environments, including deployment architecture and infrastructure configuration.
• Platform Administration: Administer and maintain Teamcenter environments, ensuring availability, stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Version Upgrades and Patch Management: Execute Teamcenter upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and configuration changes in accordance with established procedures.
• Module Integration: Install, configure, and support Teamcenter Quality/QMS, Dispatcher, Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA), and related platform components.
• Identity and Access Integration: Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication, and identity integration mechanisms.
• Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex application, infrastructure, configuration, and deployment issues.
• Application Architecture: Contribute to application rearchitecting initiatives, evaluate architecture patterns and styles, and recommend scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Architecture Documentation: Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, deployment models, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
• Estimation and Planning: Provide technical estimates for installation, migration, upgrade, deployment, and infrastructure-related activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure, application, security, and engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing platform support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Teamcenter installation, administration, deployment, and infrastructure support.
• Strong technical expertise in Siemens Teamcenter PLM, preferably version 25.12, 26.06, or later, depending on platform availability and project requirements.
• Proven experience with large‑scale Teamcenter installations and enterprise deployment environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker-based containerized configurations and deployment processes.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting core Teamcenter components and PLM Quality/QMS.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting SSO, Dispatcher, and Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA).
• Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, application components, deployment topologies, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Experience with application rearchitecting, architecture patterns and styles, and architecture principles and design.
• Ability to create and interpret architectural diagrams and technical design documentation.
• Strong estimation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise‑scale Teamcenter deployment, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Familiarity with high‑availability, scalability, performance optimization, and security considerations for PLM environments.
• Experience developing deployment standards, implementation plans, and infrastructure documentation.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and recommend architecture improvements aligned with business and operational requirements.
