Position Overview:

The Cloud Application Services ITAR Operations team seeks a Product Architect responsible for deployments on specific cloud/container platforms, participating in all development, deployment, and operational activities for Siemens ITAR customer workloads.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years in Teamcenter or other PLM/ALM, with at least 5 years supporting customer production environment deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain cloud-hosted solutions (containerized and non-containerized).
• Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability of SaaS solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and manage the production environment, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Support workload health and uptime, including alert configuration.
• Configure application performance monitoring and alerts.
• Resolve application-specific tickets and apply patches across environments.
• Configure and manage third-party deployments.
• Document root cause analyses and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop a knowledge base for resolved issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proactive, empathetic, and approachable problem solver.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, virtualization, and containers.
• Security and compliance awareness.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLM, ALM, MOM, CAD tools preferred.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; certifications preferred.
• Experience with Teamcenter installation, customization, and deployment.
• Scripting skills (Perl/Batch) are advantageous.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Cloud platform expertise, especially AWS.
• Experience with MCAD & ECAD integration with PLM.
• SQL scripting knowledge.
• Experience deploying customizations in production.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks.
• Scripting knowledge is a plus.
