Job summary

XPO is seeking a Team Driver to join an existing two-person team for long-haul routes. You will coordinate with a partner, operate sleeper-tractor configurations, and execute loads across XPO facilities in a disciplined 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule.

A CDL and compliance with safety standards are required. Drivers receive weekly pay, mileage pay per mile split between drivers, and hourly waiting pay, along with benefits starting day one, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Be a member of an existing team.
• Partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Maintain a safe driving record and history.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
• Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off with fellow team members.
• Navigate routes, maintain CMV safety, and comply with transportation regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Utilize internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
