Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a full-time Team Supervisor (DSP) for our adult foster care home in Duluth, MN.

You will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives and supervise day-to-day activities in a supportive, compassionate environment. The role involves assisting with medication administration, household chores, personal care, and coordinating community activities while modeling professional care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in the field providing direct care.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a full-time Team Supervisor (DSP) for our adult foster care home in Duluth, MN. As a Team Supervisor, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. The New Haven adult foster care program in Duluth, MN currently provides services to adult women living with mental health diagnoses.

Shifts: Days and evenings, shifts are between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Every other weekend is required.

Salary: $23.50-$24.50/hour

This program has a rate exception of $3.75 per hour on top of RSI's regular wages. Rate exceptions are requested by RSI from the Department of Human Services (DHS) due to more significant staff support needs for one or more person at the program, so that we may compensate direct care staff at a higher wage. Please note that rate exceptions are tied to the individual(s) receiving services and will no longer be offered if the individual terminates service with RSI or no longer needs the additional supports.

What You’ll do as a Team Supervisor:

As a Team Supervisor, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. You will assist in a variety of day‑to‑day tasks based on the needs and goals of the people you are caring for. Duties may include medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, assistance with personal hygiene and medical cares, and community activities such as shopping, concerts, going out to eat, movies, fitness, outdoor recreation, and more. You will develop meaningful relationships and be part of a person‑centered culture that values the people we support and team members. Supervisory responsibilities include a blend of direct support and office duties, including serving as a role‑model to staff, training staff, assisting with scheduling, payroll, performance interventions, menu planning, organizing staff meetings, and other duties as assigned.

For this position you will need:

• At least one year of experience in the field providing direct care. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• To pass a post‑offer background check.
• A valid driver’s license and be able to pass an MVR check.
