The Assembly Team Operator is responsible for equipment operation, product segregation, quality inspection, disposition, and documentation, along with manual product assembly as needed. The role includes performing basic preventive maintenance, changeovers, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and specifications. Data collection and product dispositioning are also key responsibilities.
The work involves using manufacturing equipment or working in close proximity to equipment. Exposure to biohazards and chemicals is possible. The environment may range from clean rooms requiring gowning to open production areas that are noisy and have moving equipment. Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, and bilateral hand and upper body motions. Visual attention is required for product checks. Travel is typically less than 5%.
