Job summary

Kent Companies in Texas is seeking a Rustic Caf Team Member to provide outstanding guest service and support daily cafe operations.

You will engage customers, assist in food preparation and service, maintain clean stations, follow recipes, handle food safely, and help with stocking and compliance. This full‑time role requires standing up to 10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and pass a drug test.
• Full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer engagement in a positive, approachable manner.
• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.
• Read recipes and follow product directions.
• Operate kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Assist in hot and cold food preparation.
• Properly store food and inspect workstations for safety.
• Participate in food service and sampling.

As a Rustic Caf Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests!

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner.
• Assists in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
• Reads recipes and/or product directions.
• Operates variety of kitchen utensils.
• Assists in prep of hot and/or cold foods.
• Properly stores food and inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Food service and food sampling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and must pass a drug test.
• Must have availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, on a full‑time schedule.

Additional Information

Must be able to stand and walk up to 10 hours daily performing the functions as described above.

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height.
• Must be able to climb ladders and step stools.
• Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
