Job summary

Playa Bowls in New Jersey is seeking team members to provide friendly service while preparing fruit, smoothies, juices, and smoothie bowls. You will take customer orders, stock supplies, and maintain clean workstations.

This role requires individuals over 16, able to work at least 15 hours per week, lift 25 pounds, and communicate well. On shift benefits include employee discounts, free shirts, and a free bowl or drink.

Qualifications

• Must be over 16 years old.
• Able to work at least 15 hours weekly.
• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.
• Must be dependable, communicative.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and assemble the orders
• Replenish supplies and condiments and maintain inventory
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
• Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities
• Maintain a positive work environment for guests and staff
• Check products to ensure consistency, presentation, and flavor conformity
• Perform food preparation or service tasks
• Use point of sale cash register system
• Addressing any questions or comments that customers may have
• Communication with co-workers and manager

Job description

Team Members are the front liners in providing positive customer service. The job entails: prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, take customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service.
