Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member for our Beatrice, NE plant. You will support production by packing and wrapping dry ice, shoveling and labeling, and assisting in loading and staging materials.

This position requires safe forklift operation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a 12-hour shift. New higher starting wage of $20.00 per hour with a $2.00 night shift differential, and benefits for full-time employees including vacation, holidays, 401k, and

Qualifications

• Experience 1–3 years; food safety experience preferred.
• Speak up for safety, follow directions, and be punctual.
• Ability to perform in a non-climate-controlled environment and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap ice to customer specifications.
• Shovel and package dry ice; label, strap and stage for loading.
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers.
• Operate forklift safely.
• Move between departments as directed by supervisor.

Nippon Sanso Matheson maintains a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Nippon Sanso Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs.

Pay range: $20.00-23.00

MANUFACTURING TEAM MEMBER - Beatrice, NE Nippon Sanso Matheson is looking for Team Members for our manufacturing plant in Beatrice, NE. Our Team Members are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift from either 7AM-7PM working every other weekend and scheduled holidays. NEW HIGHER WAGES Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a $2.00 Night Shift Differential.

• Packing and wrapping ice to customer specifics
• Shoveling and packaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, and staging of dry ice for loading
• Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
• Safe forklift operation
• Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to and from positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.

Essential Functions

• Able to frequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
• Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, and have the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work. Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safe work practices.
